HowDoYouGettotheEurovision2027ArenainBurgasonShowNights?

Plan to walk or take the bus to the Eurovision 2027 arena in Burgas. Roads near the venue are typically restricted on show nights and taxi prices surge. The walk from the centre through the Sea Garden is pleasant. Leave 45 minutes more than you think you need.

TL;DR

Walk or take the bus on show nights, skip driving, and leave 45 minutes earlier than you think you need.

Why walking usually wins

Burgas is compact. The centre is walkable end to end in about 30 minutes, and the station, Aleksandrovska, Bogoridi, the Sea Garden and the beach form one flat loop. If you stay in the centre, the stroll to the venue through the Sea Garden is part of the Eurovision experience. Wear comfortable shoes, because you will be on your feet for hours before and after the show.

Buses, taxis and roads

Burgasbus runs the city network, including BRT lines on the main corridors. A single ticket is around €0.80. Buy it from the driver or a kiosk and validate it on board. Buses run roughly every 10–20 minutes by day.

Roads around the venue are typically restricted on show nights, and taxi surge is real. If you do take a taxi, check the rate sticker on the window. Metered fares are roughly €0.60–1.00 per km. Order by app or phone rather than hailing one near busy spots. Parking during contest week will be difficult, so you don't need a car.

Show-night checklist

  • Leave 45 extra minutes for security queues and crowds.
  • Carry some cash (euro) for kiosks and taxis. Cards work in most of the centre.
  • Plan your return before the show. The last songs and the confetti will be followed by a rush for buses and taxis.
  • Consider the fan village by the sea if you want to wait out the crowd. It has free screenings and street food.

Staying outside the centre, for example in Sunny Beach or Nessebar, makes late returns harder. Our getting around guide covers buses and taxis in detail, and the Eurovision page covers contest week.
